Tribunal fines for employers

Just as employers thought the tribunal system was becoming more of a level playing field, April 2014 sees some changes coming into force that still seem to favour an employee. 2013 has seen many changes introduced to the tribunal system, designed to improve it make the whole process much more balanced between employee and employer. However, this change will give a tribunal the power to charge penalties in certain circumstances of up to £5,000.
