A series of guides have been produced that give practical assistance to SMEs that are seeking business opportunities in the green retrofit market in London.

The guides have been launched by the independent charity the Institute for Sustainability and are aimed at tradespeople and professionals working in London’s built environment sector and provide guidance and practical advice on a variety of low carbon retrofit topics. According to the Institute, the guides draw on leading academic and industry expertise. The main purpose of the guides is to assist SMEs to exploit the UK domestic retrofit market – a sector that is expected to grow into a £200 to £500 billion industry by 2052 as the UK Government begins a huge programme to insulate the country’s existing housing stock.
